NOIDA: The Noida Police has invited suggestions from residents on boosting women safety and empowerment, with the one giving the best propositions standing a chance to become assistant commissioner of police for a day, officials said on Thursday.
Though both men and women can send their suggestions under this initiative, the opportunity of becoming assistant commissioner of police (ACP) will be only open to women, they said.

Security has been tightened in the national capital with police barricades mounted at various important places in the city including ITO, Yamuna Bridge and other locations.
This has been done in view of the proposed tractor rally called by the farmer unions on Republic Day against the recently enacted central farm laws.
The Samkyukt Kisan Morcha, an umbrella body of 41 unions leading protests against the Centre s farm laws, said their tractor parade will not enter central Delhi and it will start only after the official Republic Day parade on Rajpath concludes.

LSP-2 TESTBED FOR UTTAM AESA FCR
Indigenous Uttam AESA Fire control radar (FCR) has completed crucial air to air mode trials successfully and by mid of 2021, DRDO is expecting that it also completes its Air to Ground and Air to Sea Mode before it is cleared for production sometime at end of 2021 or in early 2022 said a report prepared by the Delhi Defence Review. Air to Air mode trials made up 80% of the flight trials and major section of the software development required for the program.
Uttam AESA FCR has been tested in Basic and Advance air to air mode in the trials in the last few years, it has been, further fine-tuned with regular software upgrades and scan refinements, and it has shown better search and track results then the Israeli ELTA ELM-2052 AESA FCR found on the Jaguar Ground attack jets.
