Inger Glersen Folkeson Named as Group COO and EVP of Fiber Networks in Bulk Infrastructure

Bulk Infrastructure, the Nordics’ leading provider of ultra-scalable, highly connected, sustainable data centers and fiber networks, today announced the appointment of Inger Gløersen Folkeson as Chief Operating Officer, Bulk Infrastructure Group and Executive Vice President, Bulk Fiber Networks, effective August 16, 2021. Previously, Folkeson was the Chief Financial Officer at Digi Telecommunications where she led finance operations and guided strategy, business development, performance management and efficiency initiatives for the Malaysian mobile connectivity and internet services provider. Prior to joining Digi, Inger held a series of senior leadership positions at Telenor ASA, the international tele, data and media communication service provider. ....

Telenor launches towerco headed by Sweden business CEO

Telenor Group has spun its Nordic tower assets into a new business and appointed the CEO of Telenor Sweden to take the reins.
Telenor Tower Holding AS gathers all Telenor’s tower activities in the Nordics under one unit that will report directly to the group CFO, Tone Hegland Bachke.
The business will be headed by Telenor Sweden CEO Kaaren Hilsen (pictured), effective 1 September. Telenor said the search for Hilsen s successor has yet to begin.
“Tower infrastructure is a strategically important area for Telenor. We need a dedicated CEO and management team to drive value creation, and Kaaren is the right person to take on this challenge,” said Bachke, EVP and CFO of Telenor Group. ....
