Central Hawke's Bay community rallies together after supermarket fire

“This community has been here for the last 162 years, we’re not going to let this roll us,” local man Terry Kingston said.
He contacted the Central Hawke’s Bay Council (CHB) yesterday suggesting a shuttle service that would run the elderly from Waipawa to Waipukurau, so they could do their grocery shopping.
“What’s been amazing is the organisation of groups who have got behind it. Waipukurau Rotary are prepared to help with the transport and offer financial help for petrol. Everyone is there to do something about it all,” Kingston said.
