Presbyterian moderator re-elected for two years Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in TT, Rev Joy Abdul-Mohan. - The Rev Joy Evelyn Abdul-Mohan has been re-elected to serve a second two-year term as moderator of the Presbyterian Church (PCTT). She was elected unanimously at the Synod’s 61st AGM on Thursday. For the first time, the election was held virtually, based on Government’s health guidelines to prevent large gatherings as the country witnesses a spike in covid19 cases. General secretary Terrence Warde cited Abdul-Mohan’s astute leadership of the church during the continuing pandemic as the main reason for her re-election. He said the church is still experiencing a period of uncertainty with the pandemic and that unprecedented times call for leadership that can navigate the unpredictable. ....
