Vivary Way in Colne Eight people have been taken to court and fined in the last two months for failing to provide information to the police after they were allegedly caught speeding on East Lancashire s roads. Out of the hundreds of people caught exceeding the speed limits across the region since May 1, only a handful of those failed to provide information relating to the identification of the driver of the vehicle when required to do so. And out of that handful, just eight were fined for that offence, with all of them either receiving points on their licence or being disqualified from driving.
