Local students named to YSU president s list

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio The following local Youngstown State University students have been named to the president s list for earning a perfect 4.0-grade point average during spring semester 2021.
To be eligible for the president s list, honorees must be full-time undergraduate students with a 4.0 GPA for least 12 semester hours of classes.
Kaitlyn Hoover, a merchandising: fashion and Interiors major of Enon Valley;
Zach Jordan, a music education instrumental major of West Pittsburg, Taylor Township;
Patricia McMillin, a physics astronomy major of Wampum;
Alyssa Micco, a social work major of Edinburg

at Tiger Den
LOCK HAVEN Blake Cain, 18, of Mill Hall and an 11-year-old Lock Haven girl were cited for criminal mischief involving vandalism at the Tiger Den playground on April 24, Lock Haven City Police said.
Police said assistance from the public helped identify the two suspects.
DUI charge
SPRING MILLS A case of driving under the influence was investigated by state police at Rockview on May 6.
According to police, a 35-year-old Spring Mills woman was stopped at the intersection of N. Pennsylvania Avenue and Overlook Drive in Potter Township, Centre County.
One-vehicle crash
TAYLOR TOWNSHIP State police at Rockview investigated a one-vehicle crash that took place along Interstate 99 in Taylor Township, Centre County.
An Ohio man accused of robbing a man at gunpoint in Breezewood last year after stealing a handgun from a gun shop in Saxton waived his right to a preliminary hearing.
Xavier M. Logsdon, 20, of Elyria, Ohio, on July 11 was charged with first-degree felony counts of robbery and robbery of a motor vehicle, as well as numerous other felony and misdemeanor charges.
State police said Logsdon was arrested after he allegedly stole a firearm Saxton Outdoor Supply, fled in a stolen vehicle, robbed a man at gunpoint for another vehicle in Breezewood, and then led police on a pursuit through parts of two counties.
Theft by deception
HOWARD At 2:08 p.m. on April 3, a case of theft/crime by deception on 146 Primrose Lane in Liberty Township was investigated by State Police at Rockview.
According to police, Phyleshia Seyler, 29, of Howard was scammed out of $2,400. She was allegedly contacted about purchasing a Siberian Huskie after making an inquiry on a web page. Seyler was instructed to purchase Visa gift cards and send photographs of the PIN for payment. The actor then allegedly never shipped a dog. Seyler realized it was scam and contacted police.
Harassment
BELLEFONTE At 6:30 p.m. on April 4, a case of harassment and physical contact on Egypt Hollow Road in Boggs Township, Centre County, was investigated by state police at Rockview.
