Love INC director stepping down to focus on health Staff Reports GREENFIELD Karla Whisenand, executive director of Love INC of Greater Hancock County, is stepping down from her post at the end of the year due to health reasons. Whisenand has been battling Stage III recurrent ovarian cancer since 2011, and has had two recurrences in the past 18 months. In an email shared with Love INC supporters, she wrote that after nine rounds of chemotherapy transfusions, she is now in remission and is starting daily maintenance chemotherapy in January. “I appreciate everyone’s support and continued prayers as I navigate my way through this,” she wrote. ....
