May 12, 2021 Richard Luden Long, 56, of Harrisburg and Lewistown Pa., passed away suddenly on May 2, 2021. He was born in Lewistown, Pa. to Walter A. and Nancy Byler Long. Richard was preceded in death by his mother Nancy Byler Long; brother Walter “Pete” Long Jr.; a very special nephew, Zachary Alan Long, and “Aunt Sissy” Pauline Shover. Richard was the co-owner of “Darn That Junk Hauling and Cleaning Services” and “Gazette Antiques.” He currently worked at Keystone Area Goodwill Services in the capacity of Assistant to Custodial Services. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, where he was a food service specialist at Dover Air Force Base in Dover, Del. ....
