I’ll admit it. I don’t get goat yoga. But I barely get yoga, period. And I’m not one of these people who thinks every single furry animal is adorable. In fact, I find goats highly un-adorable. That said, I’ve always been told that yoga can give you a sense of calm, plus fitness and flexibility that can be so beneficial to your life. Still, the few times I tried, it was just too slow for me and didn’t excite me in the least. Yoga, to me, was as boring as back-to-back episodes of Downton Abbey. ....
Nov. 27 Dec. 7 ARREST: Fred Len Shook, 69, of 244 Devils Den Road, Banner Elk, was arrested and charged with impeding traffic by sitting/standing/lying. Shook was released on a written promise and issued a Jan. 28, 2021, court date. Dec. 8 ARREST: Mindy Leigh Phillips, 39, of 4039 Campbell Road, Mountain City, Tenn., was arrested on an order for arrest on charges of possession of marijuana paraphernalia and possession of marijuana up to one-half ounces. Phillips was issued a $500 secured bond and a Jan. 28, 2021, court date. LARCENY: Burglary/breaking and entering of a safe containing $9,000 in cash was reported in the 400 block of Long Ridge Farms Road, Sugar Grove. ....

Orr, 58, 556 New Court St., Youngstown, was arrested on charges of theft and possession of criminal tools following a shoplifting call at Ollie’s, 385 Boardman-Canfield Road. Dec. 7, 8:10 p.m. Brittany N. Robbins, 23, 5247 Old Oxford Lane, Boardman, was arrested on a charge of theft following a shoplifting call at Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive. Dec. 6, 5:09 p.m. Following a call to a Spartan Drive residence regarding a runaway youth, a 16-year-old Boardman boy was charged with unruly juvenile. 2:15 p.m. Andre K. Williams, 27, and Tanyce C. M. Johnson, 23, both of 1553 Florencedale Ave., Youngstown, were each arrested on a charge of theft following a shoplifting call at Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive. ....
