66 more cases against Cincinnati protesters dismissed, judges rule

Over the past week, 66 more cases have been dismissed against protesters who were arrested during demonstrations earlier this year in Cincinnati.Last Thursday, Hamilton County Municipal Court Judge Ted Berry dismissed charges against 39 protesters arrested between May 29 and June 1. Judge Brad Greenberg followed suit, dismissing charges in 27 cases on Wednesday.The announcement comes nearly a month after a Judge Janaya Trotter Bratton ruled to dismiss cases against 35 protesters arrested during the same time period. In total, 101 cases have now been dismissed. The mayor implemented a citywide curfew amid protests over the death of George Floyd. Floyd, a 46-year-old unarmed Black man, was killed ....
