File photo.(Evans Caglage / Staff Photographer) 8:19 PM on Jul 28, 2021 CDT The North Texas Tollway Authority is searching for the owner of a wedding dress that employees found inside a box last week in Frisco. NTTA spokesman Michael Rey said a roadside safety services crew found the dress late Friday on the Dallas North Tollway near Gaylord Parkway. In a photo that the NTTA shared on social media, the dress appears to be in good condition. Based on information found with the dress, Rey said, NTTA officials believe it was last worn about 20 years ago. ....
“It was kind of just the easiest option,” she said. It was easy and free to post. Lauer listed her car and within a few months got an offer. “(The buyer) test drove it once and then I think that night or a couple of days later, he said he wanted to buy it,” Lauer said. The National Transportation Safety Board announced it is launching an investigation into the 133-car pileup that left six people dead and dozens injured in Fort Worth, Texas Thursday. The investigation will look into the snow and ice treatment procedures for the roads, the board said. The agency responsible for treating Interstate 35W, the North Tarrant Express, said last week that the roads were treated throughout the week. NTE & NTE35W maintenance crews started pre-treating the corridors on Tuesday morning in anticipation of inclement weather, and have been treating continuously as they monitor the roadway, North Tarrant Express said in a statement to WFAA, the ABC affiliated TV station in Dallas, last week. ....
