PHOENIX – First Lady Jill Biden and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff visited a vaccination clinic at Isaac Middle School on Wednesday to stress the importance of community protection from COVID-19.
“Your lives and your health matter to the president, to the vice president, to Doug and to me,” Biden said. “I’m here to ask all the viewers on these TV stations to please make the choice to get vaccinated, because it’s safe.” ....

WASHINGTON – COVID-19 vaccination rates have fallen sharply in Arizona, but health officials are still hopeful the state can reach a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention goal of vaccinating 70% of Arizonans by July 4.
To do that, the state is shifting its efforts from mass-vaccination sites to more community out-reach efforts and continuing to expand vaccination opportunities to include pharmacies, doctors’ offices, community events and mobile pop-up events. ....

Launched in Phoenix in 1981, Ability360 serves people with disabilities, including assistance with independent living or employment, peer support and mentorship, home care, mental health services and adaptive sports and fitness programs.
