The projects support Let’s Get Wellington Moving’s objectives of improving safety for everyone using our city’s roads, streets and paths, and reducing reliance on private vehicles. Formal consultation on proposed new speed limits, of 50km/h on Ruahine Street and 60km/h on Cobham Drive and Calabar Road, starts on Wednesday. SPRING VALLEY It has been a year since someone fatally shot Kenneth Love II, who was working as a security guard at a marijuana dispensary in Spring Valley. No arrests have been made in the case. The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said this week that investigators have an image of a someone who may have information about the killing. But investigators need help from the public to identify him. Sheriff’s officials said this man is a “person of interest” in the June 2020 slaying of Kenneth Love II in Spring Valley. SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Authorities reached out to the public Tuesday for help in identifying the killer or killers of a 59-year-old security guard who was gunned down outside a Spring Valley marijuana dispensary a year ago. Kenneth Love II was found mortally wounded in front of the unlicensed cannabis shop in the 8700 block of Troy Street, just east of state Route 125, shortly after 11 p.m. on June 2, 2020, according to sheriff’s officials. Love was pronounced dead at the scene. Several men were seen fleeing the area following the deadly gunfire, Lt. Thomas Seiver said. Detectives are seeking to identify a possible suspect in the shooting, a youthful-looking man videotaped by a security camera. Investigators believe he might have fled in a 2018 Toyota Camry, Seiver said. ....
