Arizona softball to have 100% fan capacity for NCAA Tournament Share this story Photo courtesy Arizona Athletics Two days after increasing Hillenbrand Stadium’s fan capacity from 30 percent to 50 percent for the NCAA softball tournament, the University of Arizona is taking it one big step further. The school announced Wednesday that it is increasing to 100 percent capacity for the Tucson Regional, which begins Friday and runs through Sunday. It’s the first time since the onset of the pandemic that a UA event will not be limited in capacity. The Arizona softball team, the No. 11 overall seed, is set to welcome Ole Miss, Villanova and UMBC with the winner advancing to Super Regionals next weekend. If everything goes as expected, Arizona will be traveling to Arkansas to face the sixth-seeded Razorbacks. ....
