VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. - Two Sanford men are in custody after fleeing from deputies in a high-speed chase, following a wreck and a shooting on Interstate 4 (I-4) on Saturday. Deputies said it all started when a vehicle carrying four people pulled off I-4, saying there was a bullet hole in their windshield. The innocent people inside the car, who were not hurt, were able to provide dashcam video and a license plate number to investigators, allowing officials to track down the suspect vehicle. ....

That s after one of them shot through the passenger window at a passing vehicle carrying four people on I-4. Charged are 26-year-old Deon Brown and 23-year-old Kobe Hunter, both of Sanford. The Volusia Sheriff s Office (VSO) says the shooting was caught on camera. It left a bullet hole in the windshield of a passing vehicle carrying four people but did not injure anyone. They were able to provide dash camera footage and a tag number that allowed deputies to track down the suspect vehicle, which took off fleeing recklessly when a deputy spotted it traveling through Deltona. The shooting was reported at 4:24 p.m. Saturday in the westbound lanes of I-4 between Mile Markers 127 and 124.
