Pasay City government inoculates 14 senior citizens per barangay

The Pasay City government vaccinated 14 senior citizens per barangay with the available supply of 3,000 Sinovac vaccines.
Mayor Emi Calixto –Rubiano said the City Health Office (CHO) has 3,000 vaccines that can used to inoculate senior citizens.
Rubiano said on April 29, the city government scheduled only seven senior citizens per barangay for vaccination due to limited supplies.
Dr. Grace Noble of the CHO said that with the availability of 3,000 vaccines for senior citizens, the city government doubled the number to 14 senior citizens per barangay.
The vaccination of senior citizens were conducted at the Andres Bonifacio Elementary School, Pasay West High School, T. Paez Elementary School, and the covered courts in Barangays 190 and 194. ....

Pasay senior citizens can get COVID-19 jabs through walk-in

“Para sa mga ayaw ng online registration puwede din pong pumunta sa ating mga paaralan kung, at kung mayroon pa pong mga available na bakuna nandudun din po talaga sila at pinapaupo namin (For those who don’t want to register online they can head straight to our schools, and they will be accommodated if the vaccines are still available),” Rubiano said in an interview over Radyo Singko.
Rubiano said the city’s designated vaccination sites are Andres Bonifacio Elementary School, Juan Sumulong Elementary School, T. Paez Elementary School, and the Pasay City West High School.
The mayor said that they would also allow persons with comorbidities to get vaccinated through walk-in if they have adequate vaccine supply. ....

Pasay government inoculates 9,864 individuals with two doses of vaccines

The Pasay City Health Office (CHO) recorded a total of 9,864 health care workers, senior citizens, and adults with co-morbidities were inoculated with Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the report submitted to her by the CHO showed that 4,653 health care workers in the four hospitals in the city, public and private, received their first dose of the vaccines while 940 received their second dose.
Rubiano said the CHO is targeting to inoculate 3,377 health workers, 3,000 with Sinovac and 730 with AstraZeneca, totaling 3,730 or 110.45 percent. for the first dose.
She said 541 health workers already had their second dose of Sinovac vaccines. ....
