Through a digital platform powered by Oracle s health management system, residents can booking online appointments or call a Covid-19 hotline. They then receive a QR code to fast-track check-in procedures on the day of their jab. Healthcare workers can update patient vaccination details and use the system to create - or update - an electronic health record for the vaccine recipient. Vaccination details will also be submitted to the Australian Immunisation Register. ....
An 80-year-old grandmother is in hospital with severe bruising all over her body which her family fear is linked to the AstraZeneca vaccine. Maureen DeBoick was taken to the Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth two weeks ago by worried family members having recently received her first dose of the jab. Her daughter Trudy Love said she first noticed a large spot on her tongue, which grew overnight and affected other parts of her body. It progressed very quickly to the inside of her gums bleeding and everywhere she touched on her body came out in a huge dark bruise straight away. If she rubbed it, it bled, Ms Love said. ....
 ALARM bells are ringing after a Launceston man nearly lost his leg in a blood clot emergency last week - just days after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccination. But while family members of the 82-year-old are concerned there could be a link between the COVID-19 vaccine and his health scare, Tasmania s Department of Health has been quick to shut the theory down. There has been no case of the new thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome linked to a person receiving an AstraZeneca vaccination in Tasmania to date, a spokesman told the Mercury. If indeed the man s clot was linked to the jab, he would be the third thrombosis case in Australia out of the 700,000 AstraZeneca doses delivered so far. ....
