Date Time Pedestrian connectivity improvements in city centre Works to improve pedestrian connectivity in the vicinity of the intersection of Smith and Searcy Street in the city centre are commencing from Monday, 19 April. The works include installation of a pathway around the Banyan tree at the intersection and a permanent change to the flow of traffic to a one-way exit only partially along Searcy Street to Smith Street. There will be no entry to Searcy Street from Smith Street after the works are completed, but there will be normal entry and exit to and from Searcy Street at Cavenagh Street. ....
