One of those includes a Beard and Mustache competition. This particular event will be held on Saturday, August 14th at 3:30 PM. If you think your beard or mustache is a real show stopper, be there and prove it. You know as well as I do that there are a lot of people who take great pride in their facial hair. If you know someone who fits that description, make sure they know about this competition. Honestly, as of right now - I don t know what the winner will receive. Possibly a trophy or bragging rights, either way a win is a win. I am working on finding out the specifics. Right now, I just want to make sure you are aware of the contest. ....

This summer, Vehicle City will transform into Tattoo City with the area s first major tattoo convention. For the longest time residents and ink addicts from Flint and surrounding areas have wanted a tattoo convention right here in our own hometown. I m happy to say it s finally going to happen. The Tattoo City Tattoo Convention is rolling through the Dort Financial Event Center for three days in August. It will be three days of tattooing, entertainment, clothing, artwork, and contests. Who will be there? Come see Flint’s own Kyle Dunbar who was featured on season 3 and season 4 of Ink Master, Cee Jay Jones from season 2, Carl Murray AKA Doctor Blasphemy, and other top-rated artists from across the state and country. ....
