Three SW Missouri student archers make Academic All-American Team May 21, 2021 11:38 AM Kaden Milner JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) recognized nine Missouri student archers in the Missouri National Archery in the Schools Program (MoNASP) who made the 2021 National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) Academic All-American Team. Two of which came from Lamar Middle School and one from Carl Junction High School. MDC congratulated the following Missouri student archers on the 2021 NASP® Academic All-American Team who not only excelled on the range, but who were also recognized by their school for proficiency in the classroom: NASP Elementary Division All-American Academic Archers ....
Outdoornews May 19, 2021 Due to the many Covid 19 related issues affecting schools across our nation, the National Archery in the Schools Program made the difficult decision to replace its popular in-person NASP Western and Eastern National Tournaments in 2021 with a combined virtual competition for all NASP archers. NASP believed that the virtual competition would allow archers who had long been sidelined with the chance to safely compete in their home location at a time when so many of their previous events were cancelled or negatively impacted due to the effects of the pandemic. As the competition window came to a close, a record 15,683 archers from 1,053 schools in 42 states competed in the virtual bullseye competition. The newest addition to the NASP competitions; the NASP IBO 3D challenge also experienced great participation with 4,015 archers from 326 schools in 33 states competed in the virtual 3D competition. ....

JEFFERSONVILLE âA new senior living facility focused on memory care is coming to Jeffersonville. Denton Floyd Real Estate Group broke ground Thursday for Bridgepointe Gardens, a 131-unit assisted-living and memory care community to be built on Utica Sellersburg Road. The facility will be managed by Vitality Senior Services. âAt Denton Floyd, our focus has always been on building better communities, and that philosophy could not be more fitting for this new project,â Denton Floyd co-founder Tommy Floyd said. Todd Marsh, CEO of Vitality Senior Services, said he believes the project is âthe beginning of something amazingâ for Jeffersonville.
