For years the city of Jamestown has dyed the Chadakoin River green a colorful nod to St. Patrick’s Day that has drawn dozens of area residents near the downtown area. But like most events tied to holidays in 2020, the annual March gathering was canceled due to early concerns of COVID-19 and its potential for spread of the virus.
