The playmaker played a key part in the Saints’ 30-25 win as they showed impressive resolve having been dealt a setback prior to kick-off.
Harlequins’ five-point win at Bath ended Northampton’s chances of reaching the post-season but, with rivals Leicester threatening to overtake them, they showed a desire missing in the two previous rounds to secure a victory. ....

Northern Light is a book by Kazim Ali.(Goose Lane Editions)
Kazim Ali was the child of South Asian immigrants, who unexpectedly spent years of his childhood in the small Manitoba town of Jenpeg, a town that existed because of the hydroelectric dam nearby. Northern Light is Ali s story, the story of the Pimicikamak community and the story of a town that no longer exists. ....

Kyle Sinckler can use the hurt of his Lions omission to scale new heights
Robert Kitson
Everyone who has ever been rejected, in any walk of life, knows how deeply it can sting. Which makes the soothing balm of subsequent affirmation all the sweeter. One person’s opinion is not necessarily the gospel truth.
It is similarly the case in sport. Rugby is full of examples of successful players who were rejected, overlooked or released on their way up. Often it is the making of them, the initial setback proving the catalyst for individuals either to redouble their efforts or change their entire outlook. Some clubs, the double-winning Exeter Chiefs among them, had a policy of recruiting so-called misfits or rejects from other ....
