Kunz said he will deliver a message of hope during Christmas services. The COVID-19 pandemic and its effects have made this year challenging for many churchgoers, especially those in isolation, area pastors say.

In the weeks and days leading up to Christmas, dozens of volunteers with St. John the Baptist Catholic Church have been calling all 3,000 parishioners to let them know they’re not alone.
