RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson says a Richland County Councilwoman will face a judge Friday morning after being indicted on 24 charges alleging misconduct in office.
Councilwoman Dalhi Myers will have a bond hearing at the Richland County Courthouse at 10 a.m.
According to the indictment, Myers is charged for the following crimes:
Drawing and uttering a fraudulent check (value more than $5,000) (1 count)
Embezzlement (10 counts)
Use of campaign funds for personal expenses (1 count)
Use of official position for personal gain (10 counts)
Governor Henry McMaster has suspended Myers and appointed Cheryl English to serve as a member of Richland County Council in the seat representing District 10. ....

(COLUMBIA, S.C.) – There will be a bond hearing at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 18, 2020 at the Richland County Courthouse before Judge DeAndrea Benjamin for Richland County Council member Dalhi Myers.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A member of the Richland County Council faced a judge Friday morning concerning a 24-count indictment alleging public corruption and misconduct in office.
A state grand jury handed down the indictment Thursday against Councilwoman Dalhi Myers.
Among the charges are misconduct in office, use of official position for personal gain, embezzlement, drawing and uttering a fraudulent check (value more than $5,000), and use of campaign funds for personal expenses. ....

COLUMBIA, S.C. Richland County Councilwoman Dalhi Myers has been indicted by a state grand jury on accusations she used county funds for personal use, including a trip to Greece as well as hotel rooms, gifts for friends and family, and personal bills.
The indictments were announced Friday by the South Carolina Attorney General s office.
