Head Coach Tricia Binford has led the Montana State Bobcats team back to the top of the standings after losing key players a season ago. Binford has been a head coach for the Montana State Women s Basketball for 16 years. This year marks the second year in a row that Binford has been named the coach of the year following a stellar campaign in 2019-20. The Bobcats won as many as eight consecutive games this year, as they capped the regular season with a 16-6 overall record and a 13-3 conference mark. The women s team will play in the Big Sky Conference in Boise, Idaho this week. The Bobcats will play their first tournament game at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, due to receiving a first-round bye.
