Massage Spa Shootings In Georgia Leave 8 Dead, Including 6 Women Of Asian Descent
Police arrested Robert Aaron Long, 21, hours after the shootings. Authorities said it s too early to say whether the crimes were racially motivated.

Police on Tuesday arrested a man suspected of opening fire at three massage spas in northern Georgia hours earlier, killing eight people, including six women of Asian descent.
Robert Aaron Long, 21, of Woodstock, Georgia, was apprehended by law enforcement officials while driving to Florida, where he may have planned to carry out additional attacks, authorities said Wednesday during a news conference. Police recovered a 9 mm handgun during the traffic stop.
At Least 8 Dead After Shootings At 3 Atlanta Massage Spas
Atlanta police said that at least six of the victims appear to be Asian. A suspect was apprehended hours after the shooting, according to officials.
Eight people, including six women of Asian descent, were killed during three shootings at massage spas in the Atlanta area on Tuesday.
Police arrested a suspect, 21-year-old Robert Aaron Long, of Georgia, several hours after releasing photos from surveillance footage near the businesses. There is so far no known motive.
“The suspect was arrested without incident and transported to the Crisp County Detention Center,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement on Facebook.
A fourth person had died in the shooting at the spa in Cherokee County, Cherokee County Sheriff’s office spokesperson Jay Baker tells CNN.
So that now means between the three spa shootings there are EIGHT people dead.

Chris Cuomo said during a breaking news report on Tuesday night. “At least eight people dead in a series of shootings. At the same kinds of locations, spas in and around Atlanta, Georgia. At least four of the dead are Asian women. We do not know the race of gender of the others or the relationship of those people to this crime. The questions are obvious were these coincidence?”
