Bills rookie safety Damar Hamlin is amazed at how much smaller the world keeps getting for him.
Friday, after his first practice at Bills rookie minicamp, he couldn t get over how he wound up in the NFL with his childhood friend and former Pitt teammate, Dane Jackson. Pittsburgh is a small city . and we re kind of from the same side of town, so we ve pretty much been close my whole life. Went to different high schools, but always were tapped in to what each other had going on. And then we ended up at Pitt. It was right and left hand at Pitt. And to be here together, it s just great to have the comfortability right here under one roof.

It s no secret that here in Buffalo, we take pride in our food. I have lived here my entire life, and I have also been to other regions around the country. I truly believe that Western New York s food scene rivals anyone in America.
The NFL Draft took place less than two weeks ago and the Bills drafted a few players they hope make an immediate impact on an already Super Bowl contending roster.
One of those rookies is safety Damar Hamlin, who played college football at the University of Pittsburgh.

The unluckiest sports program on Earth caught a doozy in the dinglies last week as co-DC/cornerbacks coach/crack recruiter Mo Linguist took the late-opening Buffalo head job. How bad the fallout will be depends on which replacement coach Michigan can get in this late hour. Here are the gentlemen Michigan could take a swing at. We ll tackle some of the big names first and if we re still shopping later this week I ll have a Part II with other candidates once we have a clearer idea of the market.
We heard rumblings about 24 hours before the first round that the Cardinals were likely to take Collins, though he was someone expected to go in the mid-to-late 20’s. Could they have traded back and landed him? Maybe. But his versatility combined with that of Isaiah Simmons and Budda Baker make this a tough defense to play against. Moore makes so much sense in the second round, as we still don’t know if Larry Fitzgerald will return. No matter what, he’s a perfect fit to play the slot in their offense. I liked Gowan better than Wilson, so getting him two rounds later saved their score a bit, as Wilson seemed like a bit of a reach. If there’s one thing I would’ve liked to see them do, it was to add a nose tackle seeing as many of them fell much further than expected.
