JLG Expands Its Virtual Jobsite SHARE May 25, 2021 JLG Industries announced the expansion of its “Access Your World” virtual experience. The newest job site scenario brings visitors inside the stadium and features additional JLG products, services, and content to explore.  The initial launch focused on construction tasks on the outside of the stadium, such as site preparation and steel erection work, while the second environment focuses on truss, fit out and finish work to showcase multiple stages of construction.  “The ‘Access Your World’ experience is an educational site that allows visitors to experience JLG products in a variety of job site environments, enabling them to better understand specific applications and uses,” says Jennifer Stiansen, director of marketing, JLG. “On demand access provides visitors with the flexibility to attend, navigate and absorb content at their own pace.”

Oshkosh Corporation, JLG s Parent Company, Wins Awards

Oshkosh was named one of Barron’s “100 Most Sustainable Companies” and has been included in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2021, both for the fourth consecutive year. Oshkosh Corporation has pledged to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption, and continues to make investments in technology including the development of battery-powered products. The company was also a recipient of the IDG CIO 100 Award for information technology excellence. This is the third consecutive year that Oshkosh has received this award. The company also received the IDG FutureEdge 50 Award for its innovative use of emerging technology,  the first time they ve received this global award.

JLG Supports OSHA s National Stand-Down to Prevent Falls

JLG Industries plans to participate in OSHA’s 8th annual National Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction, happening the week of May 3-7. This event is held each year to raise fall hazard awareness across the United States, giving companies an opportunity to provide important safety training to help minimize the risks associated with falls from height. According to OSHA, a “Safety Stand-Down” is a voluntary event for employers to talk directly to employees about safety, such as educating on the serious dangers associated with falls, identifying risks on different types of jobsites, focusing on proactively preventing fall hazards, and reinforcing the importance of fall prevention behaviors.

JLG Announces Plans to Miss bauma 2022

JLG Industries, an Oshkosh Corporation company has announced it will not attend bauma 2022. Karel Huijser, JLG’s general manager and vice president for EMEAIR, said, “The global pandemic inflicted a change in behavior among our employees, our partners, and our customers. Technology accelerated and improved virtual experiences. Online collaboration, engagement, and sharing of information is allowing us to build a new perspective  and made us reconsider some of our more traditional marketing efforts. As a result, we have and will continue to leverage and invest in these new and evolving technologies to showcase JLG products in innovative and exciting ways, to engage and collaborate with our global customer base.”
