Covid-19: Johor Education Dept, Larkin market ordered closed one week

JOHOR BARU: The Johor Education Department, Larkin public market (
pic) and Medan Selera Larkin have been ordered to close for a week following the detection of Covid-19 cases.
State Health Department director Datuk Dr Aman Rabu confirmed the matter when contacted on Wednesday (Dec 16).
He added that the closure order on the premises was to make sure preventive and controlling measures could be taken immediately.
“Based upon screening tests carried out, it was found that one state Education Department staff and a worker at Larkin public market tested positive for Covid-19.
“The closure order, which will last for a week, was made after a Health Department officer conducted an assessment at the premises, ” he added. ....
