Officer Tom Chryplewicz arrested Joshua Hooper, 33, of Rockland March 14 for operating after suspension, violating conditions of release, burglary of motor vehicle and theft with priors. Officer Larry Brown arrested Jessica Jackson, 30, of Boothbay Harbor March 16 on theft with priors, hindering apprehension, burglary of a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, attempted theft with priors and endangering the welfare of a child. Officer John Braley arrested David Brewer, 20, of Boothbay Harbor March 22 for operating under the influence, illegal transport of liquor by a minor, and illegal transport of drugs by a minor. ....
Chief Robert Hasch, Boothbay Harbor Police Department Mon, 03/15/2021 - 3:30pm On March 11 at 4 a.m., officer Doug Snyder received a report of burglary from a motor vehicle with a wallet stolen from a car in a downtown area, it was later reported that credit cards from the wallet were used fraudulently. Officer Tom Chryplewicz took over the investigation upon shift change and conducted an investigation with many different leads. Officers Braley and Snyder reported having noticed an individual of interest during their night shift on March 11 and reported this to Chief Bob Hasch and Officer Chryplewicz. At 7:09 a.m. on March 14, a search warrant was conducted locally, officers recovered evidence and arrested Joshua Hooper, 33, of Rockland and charged him with Burglary of a motor vehicle, Theft (with priors), Violation of Bail, and Operating after Suspension. Mr. Hooper was transported to Two Bridges Regional Jail. ....
