DUBLIN Agnes “Aggie” England, 75, died Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 1, 1945 in Salem, Ohio. She was known to say, “My birthday is 4/1/45 and that’s no fooling!” Preceded in death were her parents Bernard James Madden and Helen Viola (Larson) Madden Oesch; sister, Lois (Madden) Meine, and brother-in-law Fredrick Winfred Meine.
In life, Aggie worked as a restaurant manager at Osman’s Pies and previously Acme Grocery Store. She loved serving and being around people. Aggie was a generous person who gave of her time and finances to whomever was in need especially that twenty-dollar bill to fill up the gas tank, or the birthday card with a lottery ticket inside. She liked to laugh and crack jokes which underscored her personality of not taking herself too seriously. She was a “cup half-full” type of person who tried to see the positive side of a situation.
