If anything, the year 2020 has impressed upon me the importance of spending time with those we love, learning how to take life one day at a time and letting go of fear.
So, I took a leap of faith, left my secure job, sold my home and moved to Kentucky. I often tell people I left Texas to move closer to family, find a change of scenery and enjoy a little bit slower pace to life.
And while the above reasons are the foundation for why my husband Danny and I came, I followed through because of a deeper motivation nested deep within my soul. I needed to take the risk of breaking out of my comfort zone and follow my dreams. I have to say that the journey from there to here has been full of challenges. That said, I feel like it has taken me a life time to get here. Nonetheless, it was well worth the wait. ....
