(CNN)A New Jersey man appeared in court Tuesday after being arrested for allegedly shouting offensive language and racial slurs at his neighbors days earlier in the township of Mount Laurel.
Edward Cagney Mathews, 45, faces several criminal charges, including harassment and biased intimidation and trespassing after a video circulating on social media showed him shouting offensive and racial slurs at his neighbors, according to a Mount Laurel Police Department (MLPD) Facebook post.
Mount Laurel is located in South Jersey, about 20 miles from Philadelphia.

According to an affidavit, Mathews was captured on July 2 on a neighbor s doorbell camera thrusting his hips in a lewd motion while laughing, while looking at the camera. The family of a North Carolina teen who was gunned down in New Jersey late last month said he died protecting a 10-year-old boy from being shot.
Al-Tarrek Bell, 18, was found shot to death in the backseat of a car along with another man at an apartment complex in Edgewater Park, New Jersey shortly after midnight on March 27. Sadiel Gonzalez, the driver of the vehicle, was also killed in the shooting, according to county prosecutors. A child sitting next to Bell in the back seat and a passenger in the car s front seat survived the attack, according to the Courier-Post. ....
