Is Erick Rowan Signing With AEW?
✖
AEW Dynamite last month during the Brodie Lee tribute show. Redbeard assisted various members of The Dark Order in winning a six-man tag match, then held up a sign towards the camera that read, Goodbye for now my brother. See you down the road. The scene was incredibly emotional for the wrestlers in the ring and fans watching at home given how close Lee and Redbeard were after working together as a tag team for nearly 10 years.
Redbeard hasn t appeared on any AEW programming since, leading fans to wonder whether or not his cameo was a one-time appearance or a sign that he d be with the Jacksonville-based promotion soon. Tony Schiavone was asked about that during the post-show for this week s Dynamite.

Erick Rowan (Joseph Ruud, aka Erick Redbeard) took to Twitter today and revealed his new tattoo in memory of his former tag team partner and friend, Brodie Lee (Jon Huber, aka Luke Harper).
The tattoo features a sledgehammer similar to the one used when Rowan and Harper were the Bludgeon Brothers in WWE. The hammer includes “Bróðir” on the top of it, which is Old Norse for “brother.”
One fan wondered if “Bróðir” was a misspelling of “Brodie” but Erick’s wife Leah explained what the word is in a follow-up tweet. You can also see her tweet below.
Erick Redbeard got some new ink, and revealed that it pays tribute to his late friend and tag partner Brodie Lee. Redbeard posted to Twitter with an image of the tattoo, which is a sledgehammer (in apparent reference to their Bludgeon Brothers gimmick) and the word “Bróðir” on the hammer’s head in a runic style.
Bróðir is Old Norse for “brother.” You can see the post with the photo below, as well as Redbeard’s wife Leah explaining the tattoo. Redbeard made an appearance for AEW on the Brodie Lee Celebration episode of Dynamite on December 30th.
