Greg Abbott, would allow eligible Texans to carry handguns without a permit. The legislation eliminates the license, training and state background check requirements for purchasing and carrying handguns in public. “Here, we’re very vigilant about who we sell guns to that if we detect that something is not quite right, we shut it down right away,” said Hirsch, owner of Adelbridge and Co. Doylestown Health raffle proceeds benefit Women’s Diagnostic Center Bucks County Courier Times Doylestown Health presented the grand prize of the 19th Annual Doylestown Health Raffle to Alyssa Bensinger, a resident of Ambler and a hospital associate. Bensinger says she purchased a ticket to support diagnostic services at the hospital in tribute to her father, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. The raffle drawing was held at Doylestown Hospital, and was featured live on Facebook. The raffle sold 675 tickets exceeding last year’s record of 650 sold and raised more than $71,000 in gross proceeds to support the expansion and relocation of the Women’s Diagnostic Center at Doylestown Hospital. ....
