Basingstoke mum stabbed dad after prank went wrong

A Basingstoke mother stabbed her husband after his prank to slash her tyres and film her reaction went horribly wrong.
Marcelina Tomusiak, 33, flew into a rage after she discovered the state of her car on September 22, 2019, just as she was planning to go on a day trip with her children.
The court heard how events unfolded on North Lane in Aldershot, Hampshire, after Jacob Tomusiak started filming his 33-year-old wife to capture her reaction and was teasing her.
Prosecutors told how Marcelina grabbed a kitchen knife in retaliation to try and puncture the tyres on her husband’s grey Lexus car, but the flimsy blade snapped. ....

A mother-of-three who stabbed her husband with a kitchen knife after he let down the air in her tyres in a prank-gone-wrong has been jailed for two years.
Marcelina Tomusiak, from Poland, flew into a rage after she saw her husband Jacob Tomusiak deflating her tyres ahead of a planned day trip with her three children.
Mr Tomusiak was filming his wife to capture her reaction to the prank in Aldershot, Hampshire, in September 2019.

Caroline O'Hagan admits Selsey Country Club £25k fraud

A DISGRACED country club manager pilfered £25,000 from funds to spend on rugby tickets and her daughter’s orthodontist bills.
Caroline O’Hagan stole the vast sums from the Selsey Country Club where she was the general manager.
The 56-year-old “betrayed” members by splashing out using the club’s company credit card and cheque book.
Club directors became suspicious and forced an emergency meeting to look into the situation.
O’Hagan tried to cover up her crimes by wiping a laptop, and feigned illness as the creditors were called in.
She had also taken out loans in the country club’s name, leaving the members exposed to up to £80,000 worth of repayments. ....

Affray court case delayed as police fail to provide CCTV

A JUDGE has asked Dorset Police to provide a written explanation as to why they were unable to provide video footage of a Bournemouth town centre affray.
Recorder Malcolm Gibney was due to pass sentence in relation to the incident which took place in Old Christchurch Road on September 12 last year.
Prosecuting, Jonathan Underhill told the Bournemouth Crown Court hearing that crucial and essential CCTV which covers the entirety of the offence had not been made available.
Mr Underhill said requests were made to the force for the footage to be provided ahead of yesterday s hearing, but these efforts were unsuccessful. ....
