Swire Shipping to ink construction deal for sail-assisted cargo vessel shortly

Swire Shipping plans to sign the building contract for the first pilot vessel of the Project Cerulean by the end of June 2021.
The project, announced two years ago, aims to develop low-carbon, low-cost sail-assisted inter-island cargo vessels to serve communities in the Pacific that lack cargo handling infrastructure. 
Swire expects the ship to be ready for delivery in June next year.

The project is part of the company’s low carbon initiatives aimed at achieving net zero by 2050. An end to the war between evolution and Christian theology?


The War That Never Was: Evolution and Christian Theology, by Catholic philosopher Kenneth W. Kemp, charts the recent history and arguments that brought about this peculiar paradigm, in which many in the West came to view science and religion as diametrically opposed. As Kemp skillfully argues, much of this conflict has more to do with scientists and the faithful overstepping their respective authority or expertise, by believing that science (or the Bible) answer questions they are not capable of answering. The doctrine of creation offers an account of the very existence of the world, of its dependence for that existence on God.
