KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - Dozens gathered in Killeen Sunday in a truck parade for Rory McCracken, a three-year-old boy battling brain cancer.
Just six weeks ago, Rory was admitted to the hospital with a brain tumor the size of a golf ball. Even after surgery, the tumor grew back.
“I’ve had days where I’ve broken down and cried a lot,” said Rory’s Mother, Ashley Manwiller. ....

Coronavirus deaths fell dramatically in New Jersey’s nursing homes over the past two months, even as facilities began reopening to visitors and state officials continued to express concern over lagging vaccination rates among staffers.
At least 28 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded in March at long-term care facilities, and there were at least 31 deaths in April, according to an NJ Advance Media analysis of state data.
Those represent an 80% decrease from February’s toll of 151 deaths and were just a sliver of the 403 deaths seen in January during the height of the virus’ second wave. ....
