Waterford man in Cork fined for presenting fake essential worker letter


Gardaí can now issues fines for organising and attending a house party – 16 fines were issued on Thursday to organisers and people at house parties in locations like Limerick, Cork, Galway, and Kilkenny/Carlow.
People travelling to or from a party – even to their neighbour’s house – can also be fined.
Gardai in Waterford are advising the public to stay within the 5km limit when taking part in exercise this weekend.
Sergeant James Twomey from the Roads Policing Unit in Waterford says he understands that it is a very hard time for people:
“We have wonderful facilities in this county, fantastic beaches and mountains, and we appreciate people want to get out and visit these places, but we would advise people to stay within their 5k. If you don’t have a valid reason, don’t travel.” ....

th District County by Judge Mike Smith:
Landon Heath Jones, on probation for the offense of Obstruction or Retaliation, was revoked and sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Jones pled guilty to two separate felony offense of Sexual Assault and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Jarred Lee Williams pled guilty to the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon and sentenced to 8 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
David Wayne Cockroft pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division ....

According to District Attorney, Micheal Murray, the following felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Mike Smith, presiding.
Landon Heath Jones, on probation for the offense of Obstruction or Retaliation was revoked and sentenced to Ten (10) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Jones, pled guilty to two separate felony offenses of Sexual Assault and was sentenced to Two (2) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Jarred Lee Williams, pled guilty to the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to Eight (8) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. ....
