An Alabama family was moments away from laying their loved one to rest when another member of the family was shot and killed Saturday at the burial service near Montgomery, according to a report.
Jerry Lee Gipson, 47, was hit by gunfire at Fort Deposit Cemetery in Lowndes County during the funeral Saturday for James Gipson.
The family was about to lower the body of James Gipson, who died of cancer, into the ground when a vehicle drove into the cemetery blaring loud music, Patrina Gipson, sister of Jerry Lee Gipson, told WSFA.
