Blonson Florestal must be resentenced in the killing of Jeronimo Lopez, who ran a Saturday night card game in his Fairview garage, the appeals court wrote on March 29. Florestal, 26, could face a lighter prison term on the second attempt, in part because a judge improperly deemed him a likely repeat offender in his initial sentencing, the court found. ....
