Buena Vista closed out the spring volleyball season playing its best ball of the year. The Lady Demons opened last week with a road kill Tuesday at Florence 25-12, 19-26, 25-14, 25-11. They dropped their final matches of the year at James Irwin and Manitou Springs. âThe girls served well against Florence, which kept them out of their system,â BV coach Jamie Page said. Tanner Richmond had 4 aces and Susie Chupp 3 of the teamâs 13 aces. âWe had a little let down in game 2 and dug ourselves a hole with some off-passing, but the girls created momentum at the end of the second to go into the third and fourth strong,â Page said. ....
