Samantha Jones / Carroll County News By Samantha Jones The Good Shepherd Humane Society Thrift Store in Eureka Springs has temporarily changed the days its open to the public, but the Berryville store is still open Tuesday through Saturday and accepting new volunteers. Thrift store manager Janet Chupp said the Eureka Springs store is temporarily closing on Wednesday and Thursday, staying open Friday through Saturday. Thats because of the resurgence of COVID-19, Chupp said. Cole Wakefield, director of animal services, said most of the volunteers in Eureka Springs are elderly, putting them at high risk if they contract the virus. ....
