In Orange County, residents are asked to mask up again, whether they have been vaccinated or not. The City of Orlando reported a COVID-19 outbreak at their 911 call center as well, and some of those cases involved vaccinated workers.
ORLANDO, Fla. - COVID concerns are rising in Central Florida as a number of counties are seeing a spike in cases. The concerns have Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings recommending a masking rollback. Vaccinated and unvaccinated should wear facial coverings indoors, said Demings.

The Republican governor argued that people have become discouraged from getting the vaccine since doing so will result in no major changes in their daily lives. I think the messaging is horrific, DeSantis said. I think the messaging should be, ‘Get a vaccine because it’s good for you to do it. It works. You’re not going to have to have to be doing anything abnormal. You can live your life.’ That’s got to be what the message is.
