Students who have participated in the Amarillo Little Theatre’s (ALT) Academy have gone on to pursue a career in theater or have gotten roles in ALT productions at both the mainstage and at the Adventure Space.
But prior to Taylor Paige Henderson, no other ALT Academy student has voiced a character in a major animated motion picture.
Henderson lent her voice to the English dubbed version of Studio Ghibli’s “Earwig and the Witch” film, which will open in theaters Thursday and will premiere on the HBO Max streaming platform Friday. Studio Ghibli is famous for films including “Spirited Away,” “My Neighbor Totoro” and “Princess Mononoke.”
