Marriott Signs Dual-Branded Property in Saigon, Vietnam
(11 Jan 2021) Marriott has signed an agreement with Vietnam-based real estate firm Masterise Homes to develop a dual-branded residential and officetel project in Ho Chi Minh (Saigon).
According to Savills International Development Consultancy the agreement marks the largest hotel-branded residential project announced to date worldwide, with close to 4,200 residential and officetel units.
The project is anticipated to include branded units from two Marriott International brands – JW Marriott and Marriott Hotels.
Expected to open in late 2024, the project will play a key part of an integrated mixed-use complex slated to include residential, office and commercial units.

The signing ceremony between Masterise Homes and Marriott International took place on January 6, 2021 at Sheraton Saigon Hotel with representatives of both parties, the US Consulate in Vietnam, and AmCham Vietnam in attendance. Â Â
The joint efforts of the two entities â each bringing their impressive experience and expansive expertise in property development and hospitality management â aim to bring the ultra-luxury residential product concept of branded residences to Vietnam, elevating and changing the local residential landscape to truly global luxury standards.
The partnership also underscores Masterise Homesâs position as Vietnamâs leading real estate player, reflecting its six-year transformation to become a reputable world-class property developer.

Masterise Homes and Marriott International signed a partnership agreement on Jan. 6 with representatives from the U.S. Consulate in Vietnam and American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam in attendance.
