BY Stanton County Sheriff s Office | March 9, 2021 Numerous jail sentences were handed out in Stanton County Court on Tuesday. Marlin Clemons, 39, of Norfolk was sentenced to ninety days in jail for Possession of more than a half pound of Marijuana. He was arrested last year by the Stanton County Sheriffâs office following a vehicle pursuit at speeds near 100 mph on Hwy 275 and a county road East of Norfolk. The driver of the vehicle Martrail Edwards has also plead guilty to Marijuana Possession and Operating a Motor Vehicle to Arrest and will be sentenced later. Lance Pfeifer, 33, of Howells was sentenced to one year in jail following his conviction for Driving While Intoxicated-3rd offense. He was arrested late last year by the Sheriffâs office following a traffic stop near Pilger. He also had his driverâs license revoked for fifteen years and ....
