PORT CLINTON - Ottawa County has dropped down to orange on the state s COVID-19 health advisory system, with the county s incidence rate falling well below the state s average. County Commissioner Mark Stahl said Monday the county had been red for a long time before Thursday s announcement. It s nice to see we re moving in a positive direction, Stahl said. In order for a county to be downgraded from red to orange, the average number of cases has to fall below 100 per 100,000 residents for two consecutive weeks.
