Chattanooga Chamber Of Commerce Wins Top Industry Award For Communications Friday, April 30, 2021 The Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce has been named one of three Communications Excellence Best in Show winners by ACCE, the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. ACCE’s Awards for Communications Excellence program showcases top communications and marketing work of chambers of commerce and similar organizations. Sybil Topel, Vice President, Marketing and Communications, Chattanooga Chamber, said, “We’re honored. Many people helped complete this original project swiftly – Eric Lisica, Interactive Content Designer; Jeremy Henderson, Creative Director; and Amanda Ellis, Marketing Communications Manager; each contributed creative concepts, video production, website production and written storytelling. He Was 61 ROBERTSON COUNTY TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Racecar Driver, Volunteer Firefighter, entrepreneur, inventor, and Bee Gee’s lover, Charlie Dickens of Greenbrier has died. He was 61. On March 8th Charlie Dickens was taken to the hospital and placed in CCU. Two days later he passed away. “As much as it hurts my heart to type this out…my perfect, hard-working, selfless father went to be in the arms of Jesus this morning around 9:45 am. He fought so hard, but his body just couldn’t handle it any longer. Heaven gained one heck of a man today, a one-of-a-kind human being who would give anyone the shirt off his back. Life will never be the same, but it’s good to know that he’ll be watching over us. I’m sure he’ll be up in Heaven, fixing something or driving a race car. Mickey Boell has been on a journey of trust. As the mom of a blended family, the Fremont woman has faced a job change and two miscarriages while seeking to serve her church during the COVID-19 pandemic and working toward ordination. She never mentions being bored. Instead, Boell talks about walking through the doors God opens and using her experiences to help others. Boell and her husband, Andy, married in 2018 and have a blended family of six children. She became worship leader at Fremont Nazarene Church in late 2018 and youth director in July 2019. For five years, she worked in educational sales for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt of Boston, which sells core curriculum to school districts. ....
