EastEnders star Michael Greco slammed Hollyoaks for casting brothers AJ and Curtis Pritchard after one of their scenes went viral.
The Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer and his brother Curtis made their debut as the dance rivals of Trish Minniver (played by Denise Welch).
Michael, who played Beppe DiMarco on EastEnders between 1998 and 2002, caught wind of the video and took to Twitter to share his thoughts.
He tweeted: “This is everything and more that is wrong with an industry I love.
These people that suddenly come up with these casting ideas need to resign immediately. Shocking.” ....

EastEnders star Michael Greco has criticised Hollyoaks for casting brothers AJ and Curtis Pritchard.
The former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer has played Marco on the show since March, and his younger sibling Curtis, who shot to fame on Love Island, made his debut as Jacob on the Channel 4 soap last week.
However, one of the duo s scenes, which features the brothers meeting in a children s playground and plotting the downfall of dance school teacher Trish Minniver, played by Denise Welch, has gone viral due to their performances. ....

Professional ballroom dancers AJ and Curtis Pritchard starred in Hollyoaks on Tuesday, however their performance was quickly criticised by former EastEnders star Michael Greco.
50-year-old Michael – who is best known for portraying Beppe DiMarco on the BBC soap between 1998 and 2002 – branded AJ, 26, and 25-year-old Curtis performance shocking.
Michael s opinion was echoed by viewers across the country, with one taking to Twitter after the episode aired to write: Don t get why AJ Pritchard and his brother Curtis are in #Hollyoaks their acting is terrible.
